- 1). Blot the ink with a cleaning cloth, if the stain is fresh. This will remove the ink before it has a chance to dry onto the leather lounge.
- 2). Wipe a nonacetone nail polish remover wipe across the ink stain. This contains a mild amount of alcohol, which works well in ink removal.
- 3). Dip the tip of a cleaning cloth into rubbing alcohol, and gently wipe the ink stain if the nail polish remover wipe does not remove the entire stain. Repeat until all ink is removed.
- 4). Moisten the edge of a cleaning cloth with cold water, pour a drop of dish soap onto the edge of the cloth, and wipe over the surface to remove the alcohol and ink residue.
- 5). Treat the leather lounge with a leather conditioning treatment, as the stain removal procedure will have pulled moisture out of the leather, which needs to be replenished.
