- 1). Draw a long, flattened oval shape oriented horizontally on your page.
- 2). Draw a small crescent shape beneath the oval. Orient this crescent horizontally and make its endpoints face upward on your page. Connect the shape to the oval using short, diagonal lines at both of its ends. This completes the pie pan.
- 3). Draw a scalloped edge around your pie for a crust by making short semicircles on the sides and bottom of the oval.
- 4). Draw four teardrop shapes fanning out from the top center of the flat oval. The points of these tear drops should face the top edge of the oval. These shapes form vents for the top crust of the pie.
