- 1). Fold your paper in half horizontally. Crease and unfold. Fold vertically and repeat. Fold the paper diagonally and crease before unfolding and refolding diagonally in the opposite direction. Unfold the paper and you should have four lines running across it, all intersecting at one center point.
- 2). Rotate the paper so it resembles a diamond shape instead of a square. Locate the horizontal line running through the center. Pick up the paper and push down on both ends of this line until they touch. Flatten out the paper, allowing these folds to collapse inward on themselves, and you have a smaller diamond shape.
- 3). Grab the left corner of the diamond and fold to the right. Flatten it out to form a triangle. over the center of the paper. Fold the corners of the triangle to the center and unfold.
- 4). Look at the two creases your fold made. It should form an upside-down triangle. Grasp the point at the bottom of this triangle and pull it upward, flattening the paper as you go. This turns the triangle right-side up.
- 5). Grasp the right corner of the paper and fold it over. Repeat your actions from Steps 3 and 4 on this fold. After completing, fold the remaining left corner over and repeat with it before repeating with the remaining right corner. This completes the frog base.
