- 1). Roll some Blu Tack into a ball and use it to pull the Blu Tack stuck in the carpet away from the fibers. This will not remove it all, but it will be a good start.
- 2). Freeze the Blu Tack in the carpet with an ice cube and pull it up with your fingers. When the Blu Tack is cold, it loses its adhesiveness.
- 3). Cut off a small amount of tape and stick it over the Blu Tack. Slowly pull up the tape to remove the Blu Tack from the fibers in the carpet.
- 4). Apply a small amount of lighter fluid, or another solvent, to a damp cloth and rub the affected area of the carpet. As solvents can often damage the carpet, you will want to try this on a small area first.
- 5). Put a small amount of citrus or eucalyptus oil on to the affected area and clean of with a cloth. Clean the area with water after removing the Blu Tack to avoid any lasting damage.
