- 1). Put on the safety glasses/goggles and the welding gloves. Cut the barbwire into two 12-foot pieces. Set aside.
- 2). Take one wire and make a 2-foot circle at the end. Securely hold the seam.
- 3). Wrap the free end of the wire around the 2-foot circle. Place the free end of the wire through the center of the circle. Pull the wire through the circle until it is tight. Take the end of the wire and wrap it around the outside edge of the barbwire wreath and back through the center. Continue the wrapping process until you reach the end of the wire. Insert the last 4 inches of the wire through the wrapping to secure in place.
- 4). Start the second wire by inserting 4 inches of one end into the previously wrapped wire. Hold the wire in place and begin the wrapping process.
- 5). Attach a ribbon or small decorative items on the surface of the barbwire wreath using 20-gauge craft wire, if desired.
