- 1). Apply glycerin directly to the stain and allow it to work for a few minutes. Glycerin is available in most drug and grocery stores.
- 2). Rinse with cold water.
- 3). Apply an over-the-counter stain remover and wait 15 minutes.
- 4). Launder the garment per the manufacturer's recommendations.
- 1). Combine the dishwashing liquid with water in a bowl.
- 2). Dip a clean cloth in the bowl and dab at the stain until it is saturated.
- 3). Blot with another clean cloth until the liquid is absorbed.
- 4). Continue to apply the dishwashing liquid and water solution and blot until the stain disappears.
- 5). Saturate the stain with clean, cold water and blot until dry.
- 1). Combine 2 tablespoons dishwashing liquid with warm water in a bowl.
- 2). Dip a clean cloth in the bowl and dab at the stain until it is saturated.
- 3). Blot with a clean cloth until the liquid is absorbed.
- 4). Continue to apply the dishwashing liquid and water solution and blot until the stain disappears.
- 5). Saturate the stain again with clean, cold water and blot until dry.
- 6). Mix ammonia with ½ cup of warm water in a bowl to combat stubborn stains. Apply and blot until the stain is removed.
