Hi, my name is Greg McKinney, and today we are going to be drawing a lightning bolt. When drawing a lighting bolt it's easiest to use a straight edge. Now, I've got this little triangle here to help me do that. So, what we'll do is we'll start off just drawing a straight line. Alright, and then we'll draw another line that's parallel to this line. So, we'll just draw a line about right here and we'll make it smaller then this one. Then we'll end the line a little bit above where we ended that one. And we'll do the same thing. We'll make it just a little bit smaller and end a little bit before where we did before. So, right here so it goes just slightly past here. And this goes slightly past here. Alright and then what we'll do is we'll just connect this line and this line, like so. And we'll connect this line with this line. And then we'll make our V shape right here. And we will just take this way past this line. So, we'll just start right here and just take it right there. And then probably keep the parallel line, this line parallel to this line. So we'll just draw it about right here. And then we'll draw this line parallel to this line. And we've past there. And then we'll draw this line parallel to this line. Start about right here okay. So then, you just connect this and this. Now the cool thing about this a lightning bolt is that it's kind of formulaic. You have a long line here and then a shorter line here, and then a shorter line here. And then you have the longer line here and this one is fairly long but it gets shorter. Usually they get shorter as they go along. So long, shorter, short, long, shorter, short. So, and then you just connect those dots. That's how to draw a lightning bolt.
