- 1). Position the drop cloth over the floor to protect it from primer and paint.
- 2). Pour the primer drywall sealer into the paint tray.
- 3). Load the angled brush with the primer and apply a line of paint around the perimeter to cut in the wall.
- 4). Attach the roller extension handle to the paint roller and load the roller with primer. Apply the primer evenly over the textured wall drywall surface. Check the coverage as you apply the primer, making sure that primer coats the wall in the nooks and crannies of the textured surface. Continue priming the entire wall until you cover it evenly with primer.
- 5). Allow the primer to dry according to the package's recommendations.
- 6). Pour the semi-gloss latex paint into the paint tray.
- 7). Load the angled brush in the same way you loaded it with primer. Cut in the outer perimeter of the wall with the latex paint.
- 8). Load the paint roller with latex paint and paint the surface of the primed drywall with paint.
- 9). Allow the paint to dry completely and add a second coat of paint, if you desire.
