How to Make a 3rd Generation iPod Have Internet Everywhere

    • 1). Tap the "Settings" app on your iPod's home screen.

    • 2). Touch the arrow to the right of the "Wi-Fi" option.

    • 3). Touch the slider to the right or to the "On" option.

    • 4). Touch the slider to the right to "On" under the "Ask to Join Networks" bar. This notifies you before joining you to a network. Sliding it to "Off" requires that you search manually for networks.

    • 5). Press the "Home" button on the bottom of your iPod. Note the Wi-Fi icon in the top left corner of the screen that indicates its signal and strength.
