How to Remove the Gorilla Glue

    • 1). Fill a sink or container with warm, soapy water and soak the bonded area.

    • 2). Gently wiggle the bonded area to help the soapy water penetrate and loosen the bond. Do not pull the bond directly apart, but if you can gently slide the surfaces free at this point, attempt to do so.

    • 3). Apply acetone (fingernail polish remover) to a cotton swab and apply to the bonded area.

    • 4). Allow the acetone to soak into the bonded area for a few minutes and slide the bonded surfaces apart. If the bond does not dissolve, soak the area in acetone or soapy water longer and then try again.
