How to Get Rid of Scratches on an iPod

    • 1). Remove scratches from the front body of the iPod using toothpaste. Apply a small amount of toothpaste to a soft electronics cloth and buff it over the scratches in circular motions. Do not use gel or whitening toothpaste, and avoid getting toothpaste on the screen or metal back of the iPod.

    • 2). Spray some mild metal polish onto a clean electronics cloth. Use light, circular motions to buff scratches from the screen of the iPod with the cloth.

    • 3). Wipe down the metal back of the iPod with a cloth dampened with metal polish. Use circular, buffing motions to remove scratches in this area. Wipe down the whole iPod with a third, clean electronics cloth to remove any cleansing residue.
