- 1). Gently comb the surface of the stain to remove any collard green fibers that were in the juice. Get these off the carpet before you even blot the stain, as the plant fibers can release more color into the carpet.
- 2). Dampen a cotton cloth with rubbing alcohol and start blotting up the stain. Remove as much of the liquid as you can with the blotting. If there is an excessive amount of liquid, use a towel to gently blot it up.
- 3). Spray the spot with an aerosol carpet cleaner until the spot completely disappears.
- 4). Blot up the carpet cleaner liquid with a clean towel. Wait for the spot to dry and then vacuum the area.
