- 1). Remove all hardware from the cabinets with a screwdriver. Place the pieces and screws in a sealable plastic bag and store them in a safe place.
- 2). Run a hand-held vacuum cleaner over the surface of the cabinets to collect any dust that has accumulated.
- 3). Combine 1/4 cup of trisodium phosphate with 1 gallon of water in a bucket. Dip a scrub brush into the solution.
- 4). Scrub the lacquer cabinets to remove any stains and dirt. Dampen an old towel in clean water and wipe the cabinets to rinse off the solution. Allow the cabinets to air-dry.
