- 1). Connect the iPod Touch to the computer using the supplied dock-to-USB cable and run the iTunes software.
- 2). Select "iPod Touch" from the "Devices" list in the iTunes window.
- 3). Configure the sync settings in each settings pane, which cover Music, Videos, Playlists and more.
- 4). Click on "Apply" in the lower-right corner of the screen to save the changes. The iPod Touch should sync automatically with iTunes, unless you have manual syncing selected.
- 5). Click the "Sync" button if you have manual syncing enabled to sync your music and other media onto your device.
- 1). From the iPod Touch home screen, tap the "iTunes" icon to launch the iTunes Store app.
- 2). Select a content category to begin browsing through content, or use the search for specific content using the search feature, and locate the song you wish to add to your iPod Touch.
- 3). Tap on the desired content and tap the listed price, followed by "Buy."
- 4). Sign into your Apple ID account if requested and tap "OK" to purchase the song and begin the download.
