- 1). Create a name poster for your door to make your bedroom distinctive. Purchase a sheet of poster board and write your name with markers. Use fun fonts and the colors of your sorority to decorate your door poster.
- 2). Add sorority-themed bedding to your existing comforter. If you wish to buy new bedding, purchase a comforter, sheets and pillowcases in a solid color that represents your sorority's colors. Create individual sorority bedding using your favorite computer program and Inkjet transfers. Include images of your sorority's Greek letters as well as any symbols representative of your Greek organization. Follow the directions for your Inkjet transfers and attach them to your pillowcases or bedspread.
- 3). Make a lampshade for your bedroom using a decoupage technique. Print out your sorority's Greek letters on colored paper and then cut them out. Use a decoupage glue mixture that is half water and half glue to attach your organization's Greek letters to the shade. Cover the letters with a generous layer of this clear glue once they are on the shade to secure them for years to come.
- 4). Find the animal symbol that represents your sorority and place related items around your room. For example, members of Delta Delta Delta should place dolphins around their bedrooms. Purchase dolphin tissue boxes, desk organizers and stuffed animals and distribute these around your bedroom in a way that is pleasing to the eye.
- 5). Place a variety of framed pictures of your sorority sisters around your bedroom. Include photos from both social and philanthropic events.
