    • Washington's coastline gives fishermen all the sporting opportunities the Atlantic Ocean has to offer. Salmon, trout, sturgeon, bottomfish, halibut and tuna are some of the available fish. Fishermen have the chance to fish for shark as well. However, it is illegal to remove sixgill sharks from the water.

    • Sport fishing in the state of Washington is regulated by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Be sure to check up to date regulation for closed seasons, bag limits, licensing information and rules specific to particular bodies of water.
