Using Apple's Backgrounds

• 1). Tap the "Settings" icon and then tap "Wallpaper."
  
  
• 2). Tap the next "Wallpaper" icon to view the available backgrounds.
  
  
• 3). Tap the image you want to set as your background. Then tap "Set as Wallpaper."
  
  

Using a Custom Picture

• 1). Tap "Photos" to open your photo gallery. Scroll to the photo you want to use as your background.
  
  
• 2). Tap the photo to open it. Tap the icon with a right-leaning arrow.
  
  
• 3). Tap "Use as Wallpaper." Use your fingers to crop or rotate the image if necessary.
  
  
• 4). Tap "Set Wallpaper."
