How Do I Locate a Fuel Pump Relay Circuit on a 1992 Mark 7?

    • 1). Turn off your Mark 7's engine and remove the ignition key. Unplug any accessories that you inserted into the lighter outlet. Pull the hood release and raise the hood on your Mark 7.

    • 2). Locate your engine's power distribution center on the lower driver's side of the engine compartment. You should see a black, square cover with the words "Power Distribution Center" written right on it.

    • 3). Lift the plastic tab at the bottom of the cover to pop it off the little notch on the assembly. Take the cover off and set it to the side.

    • 4). Stand in front of the driver's side headlight facing the power distribution center. You should see three vertical columns of various fuses and relays. The first two columns starting on the left are maxi-fuses. The farthest column on the right are relays.

    • 5). Start at the top of the relay column and count down five squares. The fifth square from the top is your Mark 7's fuel pump relay.
