How to Adjust Tokico Shock Absorbers

    • 1). Pop the hood and locate the top of the struts. The center of the shaft of the strut is red and is labeled in a circular pattern from 0 to 5, with 0 being the softest ride and 5 being the most firm.

    • 2). Place a flat-head screwdriver into the small slot in the middle of the red circle, and turn the screwdriver until the slot points to the setting you want for your vehicle. Repeat this process until you have adjusted all four corners.

    • 3). Drive the vehicle around the block, and test out the ride quality. If you need to firm up the handling, repeat the process and move the number up at least one point. If you need to soften the ride, repeat the process by moving the number down at least one point.
