If your dream is to be a millionaire, an academy award winning actor, top 10 music star or the next Donald Trump, that person is already within you.
When you begin to form the image of your success, your imagination begins to put everything into motion.
You form an image of yourself as this person who has achieved the height of success, and your subconscious mind believes you have accomplished your goal.
Your Subconscious Mind Is Always in the Present When you recall a memory in rich sensory detail with all its emotions, your subconscious mind is also experiencing the memory.
On the conscious level you know what you are remembering is in the past.
You know you're sitting in your living room, or wherever you are, recalling something that once happened to you.
Ahhh, but your subconscious mind has no such context.
That part of yourself you are usually unaware of believes what is happening in your imagination is actually happening in the present moment.
You could be lost on a desert island remembering the sweet taste of chocolate chunk ice cream and your subconscious mind believes you are eating that sweet, cold and wonderful ice cream.
This is true for your dreams of the future.
You see yourself on stage with fans cheering wildly and your subconscious mind believes that fantasy is reality.
Your Thoughts Are Vibrations The memories and fantasies of future success have a vibration to them.
If you feel good when having them, the vibration is positive.
If you feel bad, the vibration is negative.
When there is no emotion, then the vibration is neutral.
Think of these vibrations you create in your mind as beacons calling to similar vibrations.
You feel good and there is a wave of energy leaving you pulling to you all kinds of good feelings.
The same is true for unhappy or negative feelings.
This is why, when things are going great, you feel like you can't do anything wrong.
When you're in a slump, you seem to step in any pile of dog poop around.
This is why it's so important to control your thoughts and, as Napoleon Hill says in The Law of Success, control your imagination.
You are the only one who can control what goes on in your mind.
Sometimes you need to use tremendous will power to overcome the negativity your mind and imagination wants to focus on.
When you are in the emotion of positive thoughts, your entire body responds with feel-good chemicals.
Your brain makes them in abundance.
When you are immersed in "I can't do it," or "Nothing good happens to me," your body produces chemicals that support these feelings.
If you want to be a millionaire or success in any area, begin by imagining what that would be like for you.
Some people would want to travel when and where they want.
Others want luxurious homes overlooking vistas few people can see.
Still others want to experience the power and respect that comes with success.
Whatever your dream, whatever your desire, experience the image in great sensory detail with emotion.
Hold that image and those feelings throughout the day and then watch what happens in your life.
