Type and email Directions

• 1). Tap the Mail icon on the iPhone home screen.
  
  
• 2). Tap the icon of the pen to create a new message.
  
  
• 3). Tap someone's name in your contacts list, or type in her email address.
  
  
• 4). Type the directions into the email message window.
  
  
• 5). Tap "Send."
  
  

Send a Link

• 1). Tap the Safari browser icon on the iPhone home screen.
  
  
• 2). Go to a map service website, such as or Bing Maps (bing.com), Google Maps (google.com) or Yahoo! Maps (yahoo.com). Type your start and end address into the appropriate text boxes and generate a list of directions.
  
  
• 3). Tap the arrow icon.
  
  
• 4). Tap "Mail Link to This Page." An email message will appear with the URL to the page of directions you just generated. Tap the plus sign to add a contact from your contacts list into the "To" field, or type an email address into the "To" field.
  
  
• 5). Tap "Send" to send the email.
