    How to Replace Cabin Air Filter in a Honda Civic

    • 1). Open the glove box and empty all it of all contents.

    • 2). Locate the hinge tabs on the bottom of the glove box on both the left and right sides. Remove the tabs by hand.

    • 3). Allow the glove box to drop down and locate the cabin air filter access door on the right.

    • 4). Remove the access door and pull out the first filter frame. Reach in and slide the second frame over to the left and extract that.

    • 5). Pull the old filters out of the frames, install the new ones (making sure to tuck them under the frame tabs), and reinstall. Replace the access door, replace the hinge tabs back into the bottom of the glove box, replace the glove box contents and close the glove box.
