- 1). Download and install iTunes to your computer if you do not have the program currently on your system. Once installed, iTunes searches for any music already on your system, then adds it to its music library.
- 2). Import music into iTunes by inserting a music CD into the CD drive of your computer. ITunes reads the CD and asks if you want to import it. Click "Yes" and the software brings in all the music tracks.
- 3). Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the bottom of the iPod. Connect the other end of the cable to any available USB port on the system. ITunes launches automatically if you closed out the system.
- 4). Select your iPod from "My Devices." All the information related to your iPod will load up.
- 5). Click the "Music" tab, then check off all the CDs you have imported onto your computer and want on your iPod. Once done, select "Sync" in the lower right corner of the program. The MP3 music is now added to your iPod.
