Hey, everybody! Welcome back to the kitchen, I'm Robin McDonald your kitchen beautician. Today's video is how to use cucumber puree. Now a cucumber has a natural cooling action inside, even if you leave a cucumber out in room temp, once you break it open, you're going to notice that it's cold inside. And for this recipe that's exactly what we need. We're going to make a cucumber burrito eye pillow to diffuse puffiness around the eyes. The first thing you're going to need is a cucumber obviously, a good sharp knife, a piece of gauze, a little bowl, whoops, and a grater, a nice big grater. So I'm going to cut this cucumber in half, hopefully and we're going to just start grading it into the bowl, you want to get enough, you know maybe a half a cup, we're getting there. This is very simple, you're going to love it. Just as if you we're making a burrito for yourself. Fantastic! Spread out your gauze and then just layer the cucumber. Ah, it smells so good! Onto the gauze as if you we're, you know as I said a million times, packing a burrito on a tortilla. Fold up the corners and then roll it up. You can place this directly on the eye area or run it over some cold water first or make it before hand and leave it ion the fridge. Anytime you enhance the cooling action of this, it's going to work better. You know, it's funny because in spas you'll see pictures or what ever, if you go to a spa they'll cut a slice of cucumber and put it over the eye, but when you think about it, it's not really filling in the contours of the eyes so it's not really attached to the skin at all. This is a great way to get that, the beautiful benefits and the coolness of the cucumber right on to the eye area, just lay back and relax and when you're done unfold it and throw it into a salad, there you go, you've got lunch. Thanks you for joining me, I'm Robin McDonald, your kitchen beautician, I hope to see you soon. Have a great day.
