How to Get Rid of Wispy Hair

    • 1). Style your hair with few layers. It is easier for hair to dry out, develop static and divide into wisps because layering increases hair's exposure to air. The sleekest hairstyles are typically one length with minimal variation.

    • 2). Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner that aim to increase hair moisture.

    • 3). Brush or comb your hair routinely, but sparingly, by brushing three or four times a day. You may be tempted to brush your hair whenever you see wisps taking flight, but brushing causes friction, which worsens the problem.

    • 4). Wear your hair straight rather than curly. Curly hair is harder to keep moisturized and sleek because the space around each curl increases air circulation throughout your hair, which then dries out your mane. Apply extra moisture, such as hair cream or hair lotion, to curly or wavy hair throughout the day to keep curls in line. Apply a pea-sized dollop to your palm, and rub your hands together. Rub the product to the ends of your hair, then run your fingers through your locks, from top to bottom.
