How to Manage Multiple Remote Desktop Connections

    • 1). Log on to your computer and click the "Start" button. Choose "Run" from the list of options.

    • 2). Type "mstsc" in the box and click "OK." Type the IP address or name of the first computer you need to connect to and click the "Connect" button.

    • 3). Enter your logon ID and password for the network to connect to the first computer. Minimize that window by clicking on the small underline in the top center of the screen.

    • 4). Click on the "Start" button and choose "Run." Type "mstsc" and click "OK." Enter the name or IP address of the next computer and click "Connect." Enter your name and password to make the connection, then minimize the window. Continue repeating this process until you have connected to all the computers you need to monitor.

    • 5). Look on the taskbar for the icons for each remote connection. Click on each one to maximize the screen so you can work on it.
