- 1). Navigate to the Web page to take a snapshot. Press the "Ctrl" and "Print Screen" or "Prt Sc" keys on the keyboard to take the snapshot.
- 2). Open Microsoft Word. To paste the snapshot into an existing document, click the "File" tab and select "Open." Locate the document and double-click it.
- 3). Press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys to paste in the Web snapshot.
- 4). Click the snapshot to bring up the "Picture Tools" tab. Click the "Crop" button on the ribbon. Draw an outline around just the part of the snapshot to keep and press "Enter." This is optimal if you have dual monitors, as the Web snapshot will capture both the Web page and your other monitor or if you only want a specific part of the page on your Word document. This step is optional.
