How to Choose Bing for Search on the iPad

Did you know you can choose your default search engine in Safari on the iPad? The default search engine for Safari is Google, but if you prefer Bing or Yahoo, you can easily change Safari to use either of these choices.
  1. Go into your iPad Settings. (Find out how...)
  2. On the left-side menu, scroll down until you see Safari and tap it. This will bring up the Safari settings.
  3. The first option under Safari's settings is for the Search Engine. Tap this to choose from Google, Yahoo or Bing.

  1. That's it. Once you've chosen, you can exit settings. The next time you go into Safari and use the search box at the top of the screen, it will default to your new search engine.
