How to Make a Halloween Place Setting

    • 1). Visit a party supply store and purchase orange and black plates, cups, napkins and flatware, or select a printed design that features ghosts, pumpkins or another seasonally appropriate object.

    • 2). Make a napkin bundle with a spider napkin ring for each guest. Roll the napkin tight and slide it through the ring. Lay this functional decoration to the side of each plate.

    • 3). Cut out a hand-drawn ghost from pieces of white card stock. Write the names of your guests on the ghosts and place the ghosts on the plates.

    • 4). Purchase small, black cauldrons or miniature, plastic pumpkins at the party supply store. Fill the containers with candy and toys and place a few on the table.

    • 5). A creative, well-designed centerpiece will tie your table together. Purchase or make a centerpiece that complements the rest of your place setting.

    • 6). Scatter Halloween confetti on the table.

    • 7). Stretch a piece of decorative spider webbing over each place setting, covering the plate, cup and napkin to top off your festive table setting
