How to Leave Your Job With Dignity and Class

No matter the reason for leaving your job, you must try to make your exit a memorable one.
When leaving your job give your colleagues every reason to sing this popular song.
"He was a jolly good fellow, so say all of us" for you.
There is always a need to make reference to your formal place of work.
Always remember that in the pursuit of your career, you will always come in contact with your old colleagues and even your formal boss.
It is mandatory to give up to three months notice of disengagement from service in some companies.
Make sure you do this to give your employer the opportunity to find replacement for you.

As a follow up to this, some companies will, sometimes request for a confidential report on you to know the type of person you have been.

As soon as you know when you need to leave your job, schedule a mandatory meeting with your boss and colleague and let them know your intentions of leaving and when you will disengage finally.
If you did all these, it will show general concern which will be appreciated, and most importantly, it will not make your boss look bad for hiring you in the first place.
