- 1). Knead a piece of the red Sculpey clay in your hand until it is soft. Roll a one-inch ball out of the red clay in your hands to form Santa's body.
- 2). Knead another ball of red clay and form a slightly smaller ball than your first. Press the balls together. Shape the smaller ball into a cone with your fingers to form the hat. Do not smash the first ball. This one needs to stay round.
- 3). Pinch off a small piece of the peach Sculpey clay. Form a small flat circle that is no bigger than three fourths of an inch in diameter. Place the peach circle on the red ball to form the face.
- 4). Knead the white clay in your hands until it is soft and easy to mold. Roll it in your hands to create a small worm. Bend it into a "U" shape for Santa's beard. Place the beard around the bottom part of the face.
- 5). Roll another piece of white clay in your hands to make another worm shape. Separate it into two pieces and shape them how you want for Santa's mustache. Place them above the beard on the face.
- 6). Create texture in the mustache and beard using the end of the toothpick.
- 7). Roll a 1/4 inch piece of peach Sculpey clay to form a small pear shape for the nose. Add it to the face above the mustache and blend to the face with your finger. Add two tiny black dots of clay for eyes on the face.
- 8). Roll another ball of white clay and flatten it out to form a thin strip. Wrap the strip around the seam of the hat to create the fuzzy white part. Make a small white ball to add to the tip of the hat. Use the toothpick to create texture in the white fuzzy parts of the hat.
- 9). Make two small sections of red clay for arms. Add a small ball of peach clay to the ends for Santa's hands. Attach the arms to the sides of Santa.
