Five Easy Christmas Party Games

When the holiday season rolls around, so do the parties.
Sometimes, we find ourselves going to parties every week or every few days.
After a while it can start to become monotonous.
I mean the food and drinks are always good, but hearing the same songs over and over can be a bore.
Try adding more spice into your next party by playing some of these easy Christmas party games.
Name That Tune This is not only a good game, but it's a great game to start off with because it can break the ice, and get everyone involved in playing the game.
To play this game, you will either need a piano and someone who can play the piano or you will need a music player and a bunch of instrumental songs.
Simply play one section of the song and have your guests guess which song it is.
Correct guesses win prizes! Name That Movie Similar to name that tune, pick out scenes from different Christmas movies and have some other guests act out the scene (you may want to let your tentative actors know before hand.
) Other guests have to guess which movie the scene came from.
Some websites offer movie and show transcripts online, so you can get the exact dialog there.
Scavenger Hunt A scavenger hunt is fun no matter what the occasion.
Be sure to hide clues around your home and on Christmas décor.
Keep your clues about Christmas, but always leading the players to their next destination.
The end of the hunt should lead each group or pair to a present meant for both or all of them.
Dirty Santa This game is about stealing presents! Ask each of your guests to bring a wrapped present.
At the doorway, give them a number to stick onto the present then place all the presents under the tree.
When it's time to play, the first person chooses a present and opens it.
The second person can choose to steal that present or open a new one.
The third person can choose to steal either of the presents or get a new one.
Anytime a present is stolen, the person who it was stolen from gets to open a new present! Christmas Cookie Eating Contest All parties are made more entertaining with an eating contest.
So prepare some Christmas cookies and find two people who are willing to go head to head in a cookie eating showdown! You can even design the contest in such a way that all guests can participate and a process of wins and losses brings you down to the final two.
