So you want some natural ways to treat acne, do you?  Good for you!  It's about time people finally started realizing that natural acne remedies are the only way you'll ever clear your skin.  So here are some of my favorites tips.

Witch hazel is one of the best treatments for acne. It helps to reduce excess oil in the skin and cleans the skin from all dirt. Witch hazel has been in use for years now and it is also the oldest modern skincare treatment used to treat acne both in teenagers and adult. It helps to promote a healthy skin, it avoids dryness of the skin because it contains some natural oils and it is not harsh compared to other counter therapies.

Use Aloe Vera skin lotion to help heal the acne scars, etc. Aloe Vera is a miracle, in itself, at soothing the irritation and promoting the healing of the acne; without leaving angry scarring from the healing zits.

Wash your face at least twice daily. If you are interested in a clean face, this is a good beginning. Washing away all the grime and makeup (if you wear makeup) from your face allows your pores to breath and prevents any of the grime from entering your pores and making more pimples or pimples that are already there worse.

It contains such tried-and-true medicines as benzoyl peroxide. In choosing the right acne treatment, you need to consider both active and in-active ingredients. Just as some active ingredients may be more beneficial for your particular adult acne, certain in-active ingredients may be more conductive to your skin types.

Take Vitamin A supplements.  In the same vein of zinc, Vitamin A has also been shown to reduce the occurrence of breakouts.  Just stay away from the likes of Accutane!  That is the exact opposite of what you want; it's been shown to be very damaging to your body.

One of the leading causes of acne is the bacteria that grows beneath the skin and blocks the pores. Aloe vera's polysaccharides are unique in that they can activate the body's natural defense system to eliminate dozens of harmful bacteria, including acne bacteria. By killing acne bacteria, the 'miracle plant' is able to effectively kill acne.
