Here's a simple home remedy to get rid of that pimple on your forehead or nose quickly and painlessly.
I've used it effectively on pimples on my face and the redness and swelling literally disappears overnight.
First, go and buy a box of green tea from your local supermarket.
You can buy either the loose leaf ones or individual teabags.
I prefer my ones in the teabags as it's easier to use.
Green tea is rich in antioxidants, polyphenols and is used in traditional medicines in many parts of Asia.
Second, boil some water and make yourself a cup of green tea.
Drinking the tea won't make the pimple go away overnight but it will boost your body's immune system and help prevent your skin from breaking out.
Just 3 to 4 cups of green tea a day will keep your skin pimple free and brighter.
After drinking the tea, don't throw the leaves away.
Keep them aside and let it cool down.
Once it has cooled down, carefully open the teabag and take some of the tea leaves out.
Don't let the leaves dry out.
Make sure it is still moist.
Now, apply some of the green tea leaves directly onto the pimple on your face.
Keep the leaves in place by using some surgical tape or plaster over the affected area.
It's best to do this in the evening before you go to bed.
That way, you can keep the green tea leaves on the pimple overnight.
When you wake up the next morning, carefully peel away the plaster or tape.
The redness and swelling of the pimple should be greatly reduced.
This green tea therapy also works wonders for acne.
Instead of taking the leaves out of the used tea bag, use it to pat your face lightly over the acne area.
Do this in the evening before you sleep and you will find the redness and scarring normally associated with acne much reduced.
