- 1). Cut the largest circle possible out of a piece of computer paper.
- 2). Cut a wedge out of the circle, like cutting a piece of pizza.
- 3). Cut a circle the width of the child's neck from the center of the paper circle.
- 4). Put on the collar with the points facing front for a girl and back for a boy, adjusting the size of the center hole if necessary.
- 1). Cut strips of paper from a piece of computer paper, cutting from shorter end to shorter end to make the longest strips possible.
- 2). Staple two strips together to make one longer strip. Measure the child's head by placing the longer strip around the head like a crown. Cut down strip to appropriate length to wrap around the head.
- 3). Decorate the headband with markers, using repeating geometric designs.
- 4). Staple the headband together, bumpy side of the staple facing out to reduce irritation of the staple rubbing against the child's head.
