How to Achieve Success in Life – a few Minutes per Day

The burning question of the hour is how can I achieve success in life?  No matter your age, your station in life – what you have or don't have – most everyone wants to feel a sense of accomplishment in living their life.

Some people make a bucket list.  A bucket list is made up of the things you want to do before you die such as climb Mt. Everest, visit Africa, learn to fly an airplane and stuff like that.  Whatever it is for you, making up a bucket list can be fun.

But more importantly than doing the things on your bucket list is feeling a sense of purpose in living your life. If you're just into living moment by moment with no sense of grand direction – that's fine – if it works for you.

Success in Life Means Different Things

Success means different things to different people.  To some it means having a nice home, a new car and all the toys and gadgets that come along with that lifestyle. It means traveling to countries far and wide, eating at the best restaurants, buying the best clothes or having the perfect mate.  To others it may mean simply being comfortable, having your bills paid, having family and friends around you and feeling good about yourself.

Whatever success means to you, it is achievable in your life, if you decide to focus on having it. Most people just don't understand how to get from where they are to where they want to be in life.

The Direct and Quickest Path to Success

The quickest and best way is to get into a mentoring program, just like school.  Within a few short weeks you can be on your way to success, which starts with the first step in that direction.

It's much easier accomplishing your desires when you have a mastermind or support group around you edging you forward.  Every football or basketball team out there has a cheerleading squad that helps to generate that energy of support.

In lieu of signing up for some program – try making a list of those things you want in life.  Start out with the top ten – write them down on the left side of the page.  On the right side of the page, write down the reasons you believe you cannot have these things you desire.

Lifetime Achievements Start with the First Small Step

To achieve success, take the first thing on the top of the page on the right side and start taking it apart.  In other words, take the reason you believe you can't have what you want and tear it apart into little bits of thoughts and feelings.  Examine why you believe you cannot have what you want, be wiling to go deep and look inside and with any sense of commitment and purpose, you will find that the reasons you believe you can't succeed disappear into thin air.  Then all you are left with is the desire to succeed.

Every day do something, just one thing that furthers you along your goal to succeed.  After you have achieved the first thing on your list, start on the next.  Pretty soon, you'll find yourself in the place you always wanted to be and from there; you create a new list of things at which to succeed.
