- 1). Create the frame of the mummy with some pipe cleaners. (Silver or white are recommended.) Use one pipe cleaner to make the body, then twist two pipe cleaners to the bottom of the body and bend them out to form legs. Make a bend in the bottom of each leg to form feet. Take two more pipe cleaners and twist them just below the top of the body, then bend them out to become arms. Finally, twist a pipe cleaner around the top of the body and bend upward. After you have a long enough piece for the neck, bend the rest of the pipe cleaner in to a circle. This forms the frame of the mummy.
- 2). Use your cotton balls to beef up the frame. Add them to the head, arms, body and feet. Keep the cotton balls in place by wrapping them with medical tape.
- 3). Cut up an old sheet in to strips. The strips should be 2" long by 1/2" wide.
- 4). Wrap your newly cut strips around the cotton padding that you just made on your frame.
- 5). Cut some more strips out of your sheet, but make them longer than the first strips. These should be 8" long and 1/2" wide.
- 6). Wrap your long pieces of sheet around the entire mummy. Start with the head and work down. You need to glue each piece in place. Just place glue on the beginning of the strip and then on its end. This will hold all of the strips securely in place.
- 7). Use your glue gun to glue on two google eyes.
- 8). Bend your mummy into the position you want and wait for the glue to dry.
