- 1). Launch Microsoft Outlook 2007.
- 2). Click the "Tools" tab and select "E-mail accounts."
- 3). Click the "E-mail." Single-click the MSN Mail account that is not working properly. Click the "Delete" button. Click "Yes" to confirm.
- 4). Click the "New" button on the left side of the Account Settings window.
- 5). Choose the option "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP." Click "Next" to proceed.
- 6). Check "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" check box. Click "Next" to proceed.
- 7). Click to choose "Internet E-mail." Click "Next" to proceed.
- 8). Type your name in the "Your Name" box. Type your MSN email address in the "E-mail Address" box. Choose "POP3" in the "Account Type" drop-down menu.
- 9). Type (without the quotes) "pop3.email.msn.com" in the "Incoming Mail Server" field. Type (without the quotes) "smtp.email.msn.com" in the "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)" field.

Type your MSN account name in the "User Name" box. Type your MSN password in the "Password" box. Check "Remember Password." Check "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)." - 11
Click "Test Account Settings" on the right side to make sure you receive no errors. If you do, double-check the above fields (server address, user name, password etc.) - 12
Click "Next." Click "Finish." - 13
Click the "New" button to compose a new message. Type the recipient email address, Subject (optional) and the message. Click "Send." You will not receive any send errors in Outlook 2007.
