All wives have husband troubles at some point in their marriage.
I have yet to hear or read about the perfect marriage.
There may be different levels of the severity of the problems, but all marriages have some.
One thing I hate to hear when discussing a husband problem is...
"Didn't you know that before you got married?" Maybe I did and maybe I didn't! However, I'm in the thick of it now, and I would really appreciate some positive input! Friends and family are not always the best resource for relationship advice.
For one, they are biased towards you, so their advice will cater towards you.
Second, you might forgive your spouse, but your friends and family will still be mad at him.
Then you will have to wonder why nobody wants him at the bar-be-q.
So, the first key in solving your husband troubles is, to find a NEUTRAL source of advice.
And you are already in a good place for that.
#2 Have you ever heard the phrase "kill em with kindness?" In my opinion, this will be hardest strategy to implement.
How can you be nice to him when you don't even like him? I know, I know, but ultimately you ARE trying to save your marriage.
So you do what cha gotta do right? It is the element of surprise.
He does not expect you to be nice.
And by your being kind you are actually softening his heart as well.
#3 Make time to sit down and communicate.
Men are full of I don't knows.
So instead of asking what is wrong, ask specifically what he finds wrong with you.
May be hard to hear, but if you don't know what is making him unhappy, how can you change it? Communication is a two way street and you need to let him know your needs as well.
Now I'm not saying rip him up one side and down the other.
Just tell your man what you need.
And more importantly, tell him how much you love him.
Will these keys make all of your problems disappear? Of coarse not, but they will help start the process of healing in your marriage.
It is possible to have a happy and satisfying marital relationship.
