Does he love you or is he just with you because you're already there? Do you love a guy and think he loves you, but you're just not sure? How can you tell? Do you ask yourself why he won't commit to you? Is it because he doesn't really love you? You may have to be brutally honest with yourself, but if he passes this simple "does he love you" test, you will know for sure.
Question One: Is he there for you as much as you're there for him? If you are living together or have been seeing each other exclusively for a long time, you have gone beyond the stage of just sharing the good times in life.
If the man in your life really cares about you, he will drop everything for you at those times you need him the most.
Does he do that for you? If so, give him one point.
Question Two: Does he think about you as much as you think about him? When the weekend rolls around, do you spend your time together or does he go off with the boys? Does he still take you out to dinner for no particular reason at all? When he gets home from work, is he happy to see you or does he head for the TV? He has a right to be selfish some of the time, so if the answer is positive 50% of the time or more, give yourself one point.
If its less than 50%, you get half a point.
Question Three: Is he willing to commit to you fully? You may have to prod him a little on this question.
If you have been together for a long time, it is fair to just come right out and ask him.
If he says yes, he wants to stay with you forever, he's already passed the "does he love you" test.
If he gets angry, that's a score of zero.
If your score is 2 or more, you're probably on safe ground.
