How to Manually Light an Oil Burnham Boiler

    • 1). Shut off the boiler completely by locating and switching the toggle in the back.

    • 2). Access the bleeder valve on the side of the fuel pump. Place your three-eighths-inch wrench around the nut on the bleeder valve.

    • 3). Unscrew the bleeder valve with the wrench. In the opening, insert the one-fourth-inch nylon tubing. Extend the tubing to the can of oil.

    • 4). Switch the burner back on with the toggle switch and tighten the bleeder valve. The Burnham Boiler will ignite and provide heat for your comfort.
