• By default, Chrome is set to save all cookies on your computer; cookies help your browser remember your website settings, and they can be used by advertisers to help target Web ads to your interests and location. Other settings that come enabled automatically include malware protection, suggestions for mistyped URLs, pre-loading links to help load new pages faster and URL prediction in the location bar -- also called the "Omnibar."
