How to Remove All of the Ask Toolbar

    Windows Vista

    • 1). Close all applications, programs and browsers on your computer.

    • 2). Click the "Start" button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop. Select "Control Panel."

    • 3). Click the "Programs and Features" icon (if you don't see this icon, switch the Control Panel to Classic View). Find "Ask Toolbar" in the menu of applications that appear. Click "Ask Toolbar" to highlight it.

    • 4). Click the "Uninstall" button that appears.

    • 5). Follow any instructions that may appear. Restart your computer.

    Windows XP

    • 1). Close all applications, programs and browsers on your computer.

    • 2). Click the "Start" button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop and select "Control Panel."

    • 3). Click "Add/Remove Programs." Find "Ask Toolbar" in the menu of applications that appear and click it.

    • 4). Click the "Change/Remove" button that appears.

    • 5). Follow any instructions that may appear. Restart your computer.
