• The Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 comes with LifeCam software that allows you to access webcam controls. The LifeCam Dashboard enables you to apply animated special effects on webcam videos. Whenever you add a video effect that you like, it is added and seen in the live webcam video streaming. To open the "LifeCam Dashboard," click the arrow found on the right side of the "LifeCam" window. Select "Effects" and choose the video effect that you want.
  
  

Clearer Voice Effect With Noise-Cancellation Feature

• The Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 has an integrated microphone with a noise-cancellation feature that allows you to speak and be heard with clarity. Even if your surroundings are noisy, the noise in the background is eliminated so that your voice is heard more clearly.

• Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 has Windows Live Integration Features that allow you to use the webcam with Windows Live and make video calls by just pressing the "Windows Live call button." This makes it possible for you to initialize video conversations in an instant.

• If you are not content with the video effects that you can access through the LifeCam Dashboard, you can use online webcam effects to access different video styles for the LifeCam VX-3000. Simply navigate to the website, and it should automatically detect the webcam you have in use. Choose the effects, take pictures and save them to your computer.
