The use of Christmas lights is a seasonal ritual and is used in the month of December as people begin preparation for Christmas and the festivities involved.
Christmas is always a busy time of the year with much to do, it involves buying food to enjoy on the day, presents and cards for loved ones to the all important decorations to acknowledge the festive occasion.

While a few decades ago, houses would be decorated from head to toe with all manner of ornaments, the number of people who decorate the home is becoming more limited.
Nevertheless, many people celebrate Christmas, and using various decoration such as lights only enhances the special occasion.
