Angel and fairy gifts are presents that can bring inspiration to whomever receives them. They have long been symbols of beauty, guidance and comfort. While they may be similar in some ways, they are also quite different, such as where they dwell and what they do. You can tailor and personalize each angel and fairy gift to represent the recipient. - Purchase a plain wooden frame from a craft store along with some lace material, rhinestones, silver glitter spray paint, white paint and very small paper images of fairies and angels. You can also choose to use either fairies or angels instead of both. Paint the entire frame white; then after it dries, glue lace all over the front. Next, glue on the images wherever you wish; apply a few rhinestones in between the images. After everything dries, use a silvery glitter spray paint to spray over the entire frame.
- Find two small pewter angel wings and a single larger angel wing at a craft store. Put the larger angel wing on a chain; use French earwires to create the earrings. Find a small box that the three items will fit into and include a small card.
- Make the painting yourself or have one commissioned. One option is to have the angel or fairy painted with any face that you or the artist wish. Another option is to include the face of the recipient. For a memorial gift, the face can represent the person who has passed away. Consider having the outfit and the background colors of the painting the recipient's favorite colors.
- A fairy headpiece can be a wonderful gift for someone to wear on a daily basis or for a special occasion. With a few items, such as floral wire and flowers, you can easily create the project. The headpiece can be worn as a headband or worn sitting on top of the head.
- Purchase a set of clear glasses; to save money get them from the dollar store. Use glass paint to paint on a fairy or angel design onto the outside of the glass. You can either do it freehand or use a stencil for guidance. Give the paint at least a day or two to dry completely. Put a layer of silver glitter paint over the entire outside surface of the glass. Give that another day or two to dry, then put a sealant over the outside of the glass. After another day or two you can put the glasses into a box to package up.
