Be Careful What You Wish For!

Why? Because you just might get it.
The thoughts that we have are very powerful.
Every day we are creating experiences and attracting people and situations that reflect what is going on in our mind.
If we really understand this will take a little bit more time to make sure that these thoughts we have are going to create things that we really want.
The trouble is many people are not really sure what they want.
If this is the case I can promise that you will attract things in your life that will reflect this too.
You may feel that life is chaotic or you might feel like that you change direction too much.
Or worse still you might feel like you go round and round in circles never getting anywhere, attracting the same types of people or similar events.
If this sounds like you, make the decision to CHANGE and break free from the misery you are creating for yourself!! If you are sure about what you want, great! It doesn't always mean that it will give you what you think.
This is especially true if you are searching outside of yourself to be happy and fulfilled.
If you think that losing weight or getting fit will bring you the happiness you crave then think again! If you think that moving home, getting a new job or car will bring happiness, think again! I have worked with someone recently who got fit and lost a tremendous amount of weight, she went from a size 16/18 to a size 10 and looks amazing for it.
She has told me that the good feeling it brought was very short lived.
It didn't last long and she is still not feeling good about herself.
She achieved what she set out to do, lost weight and looks great but what she really wanted was to be happy.
That is why I say make sure that you are clear what it is that you really want because you are likely to get what you think about most.
If you are worried or panicking that this is you, then stop.
It is no great shakes because you are able to stop and change your mind anytime you like! Oh, where to start? If you would like to take a bit more time to figure out where you are now, where you would like to be and how you are going to get there, this can help.
  1. Spend time identifying the thoughts and beliefs that you have that are getting in your way from moving forward.
What are all the things that you think you can't do? What's stopping you?
  2. Figure out what you love to do, what are you passions, desires and dreams? Have you allowed yourself to do this? Do you believe it is possible?
  3. Where are you now?
  4. Make decisions, set objectives and put plans in place to make it happen.
This will allow you to focus your mind and attention and make sure that you are heading in the right direction.
You are much more likely to break free from your own mental barriers and make things happen.
There are also many other ways that you can learn to control your mind and the thoughts that you have.
However, before we get to that, first things first, make sure you know what it is that you want.
When you get there you want to know that is going to be all you hoped it would.
Remember this, our relationships, our possessions and the things we do, will not bring us happiness and love.
We can however bring love and happiness to all that we do or to those people that we have in our life.
