How to Remove the Oil Line From Clutch Master Cylinder on 1995 Half Ton Chevy Pickup

    • 1). Crawl underneath the truck. Locate the oil line connecting to the transmission on the driver's side of the engine, and place the oil pan underneath it. Remove the oil line connection to the transmission using a line wrench, and allow the fluid to drain out into the pan.

    • 2). Trace the oil line up toward the clutch master cylinder, and locate the bolt that secures the oil line to the firewall. Unbolt the connection using the 3/8-inch ratchet and socket.

    • 3). Remove the connection under the hood between the clutch master cylinder and the oil line. Lift the oil line out of the engine bay.
