- 1). Accept all cookies. Open Internet Explorer 7. Select "Tools." Then select "Internet Options." From there, choose "Privacy" and go to "Settings." You will see a sliding bar that you can move with your cursor. Drag it to the bottom of the range to allow all cookies. Click "OK."
- 2). Accept some cookies. As in Step 1, open Internet Explorer 7. Select "Tools." Then select "Internet Options." From there, choose "Privacy" and go to "Settings." However, when you get to the sliding bar, drag it along the range from top (block all cookies) to bottom (allow all cookies). Notice as you do this, a description will pop up describing which types of cookies are allowed for that level of privacy. When you find the desired setting, click "OK."
- 3). Accept cookies from specific sites only. Open Internet Explorer 7 and select "Tools." Look under "Internet Options" and choose "Privacy." In this instance, you want the sliding bar to be positioned midway in the range so that you are neither accepting nor blocking cookies. Then, go to "Sites." An address box will open where you can input the desired URL. Select "Allow." When you are finished, select "OK."
As you do this you may notice a web browsing history list appears. This feature prompts you to repeat the process if you desire for all the sites you have recently frequented. Make sure to verify each change by choosing "OK."
Once you are satisfied you have the correct settings, return the slider bar to the generally desired level for accepting or rejecting cookies.
