Hi, everyone. My name is Joi, licensed nail technician and I want to show you how to apply dry nail appliques. So I have my nail appliques here and that's basically just like a little sticker that you will apply to the nail surface. I'll show you in a moment and then I have my topcoat. So we have here already polished nails and I'm going to apply a topcoat, just a thin layer here is fine. You could also use if you don't have a specific topcoat, you could use any clear polish or you have to catch the polish while it's still a little bit damp and you can apply it that way. So you have some options. So I'm going to remove my nail applique from the backing and I am using a cuticle stick because that makes it just a little bit easier because these are kind of tiny. Okay so I have it there and I'm just going to place it right in the middle of the nail. You can use your finger if you can be really careful or you can use a cuticle stick like I'm using here. Okay, pressing it down, make sure it sticks. I'm actually going to leave it as is. I'm not going to put another topcoat over it because I want it to still remain shiny. If you choose to and you feel like you need a little bit more protection so that it doesn't slip off, you can follow up with another topcoat.
